Subs needed for Thursday Nite Men's Major League - Held Thursday nights at 7pm.  Contact Cindy Kissling if interested in bowling or signing up to be on the Sub List.

The Womelsdorf Fire Company Social Quarters  maintains a six-lane USBC sanctioned bowling alley adjacent to the main bar area.  Currently the social quarters  has a Thursday Nite Men's Majors League sanctioned by the USBC / Reading Pottstown Bowling Association and Tuesday Afternoon Senior's League. In addition the social quarters has a year-round Saturday Morning Kid's Bowling session from 9AM-12PM (dependent on club activities and volunteer coach availability each week); it is encouraged to call the social quarters (610) 589-2323 the preceding Friday to see if the Saturday Kid's Bowling session will be operating. The bar on the bowling side of the social quarters is only open during adult leagues and during rental of the lanes for parties.

Thursday Nite Men's Majors League:
  • Thursdays starting September 10, 2009 through roughly mid-April 2010.
  • Practice begins at 6:45 PM and games begin at 7:00 PM.
  • Currently there are 6 five-man teams; though substitutes are always in need.  If you would like to be placed on the substitute list, contact the league secretary with your contact information, bowling average, dates available to bowl, your USBC ID Number, and the names / associations you are bowling in at the present time.

Tuesday Seniors League:

  • Tuesdays starting in September 2009.
  • Practice begins at 12:45 PM and games begin at 1:00 PM.

  • The bowling alleys are setup with locker facilities, rental shoes, house balls and a full service bar.  There are tables located by the lanes for seating. The bowling alley may be rented by either contacting the club at (610) 589-2323 or via e-mail.
Please reference "bowling rental" in the subject bar.

During the winter season we ask that for the safety and respect for the bowlers, that anybody with wet shoes remain outside of the bowling alley area, including the steps, to avoid accidents and/or injuries as moisture on bowling shoes can cause a bowler to slip, stick and/or fall. This rule is strictly enforced during league bowling sessions, please pay attention to signs hanging up at specific areas noting "No Wet Shoes". Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
